OK, go with me on this one: choral music is the soccer of music. It is VERY popular and the people who are involved absolutely love it, it doesn’t cost much to participate and there are choirs for people of all ages, abilities and experience. Wait, there’s more! It is popular around the world and you don’t have to have a common language to enjoy it, there are a variety of competitions for both activities, a small percentage of people can make a living doing it. The ladies of the Texas harmony Chorus have probably never compared themselves to soccer players. But, they are all about performance. Susan Stephens has more.
