DogFest Raises Money For Canine Companions - A first-time event raised about $180,000 for the soon-to-open Canine Companions for Independence Kinkeade Campus in Irving. The facility will be the place where therapy dogs are trained, and matched with wounded warriors, children, and others across the state who need help.
