Movie Review: “Free Solo” & Dallas Opera’s “The Flying Dutchman” - The Dallas Opera begins this new season with “The Flying Dutchman,” a wonderful example of the Wagnerian style – safe to say, as it was written by Richard Wagner. This opera is generally considered one of his middle works and can also be regarded as one of his “romantic” operas of the middle 1800s.
