Volunteers Help Clean Up Shelton's Bear Creek Cemetery On MLK Day - On a cold and windy morning, dozens of eager volunteers came to Shelton's Bear Creek Cemetery to help clean up the historic site. In addition to pulling weeds, and raking up leaves, many of the volunteers wanted to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by helping preserve the site where many former slaves are buried.
