Construction Progress: Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center, King Square

During this Black History Month, we take a look at several projects underway in Irving that honor the achievements of African Americans. See updates on the Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center, King Square Pocket Park, and Georgia Farrow Recreation Center. Federal Community Development Block Grant funds are paying for the construction of King Square. Hotel occupancy tax revenues are funding the improvements at the Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center.
