$50,000 Grant Funds New Trees at Cimarron Park - A grant paid for 100 new trees and irrigation at Irving’s Cimarron Park.
Two Irving teens who formed a nonprofit called “Mission Tomorrow” applied for a grant through Lowe’s “100 Hometowns” program. Mission Tomorrow received the grant, and the nonprofit’s leaders and a team of volunteers from Lowe’s worked to get them planted. Members of the City of Irving’s Urban Forestry Team provided instruction and guidance."
